Saiju Kurup-starrer Porattu Nadakam created a huge buzz even months before its release. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to take the hype to another level. Amid this anticipation, the wait is finally over! The makers have shooed away all our Monday blues with Porattu Nadakam’s new song video, Balli Balli. The infectious song, featuring Rahul Madhav’s character getting married, promises to get the entire nation grooving along.
Rahul Raj’s foot-tapping composition and lyrics, penned by Fouzia Abubacker, elevated the energy of the track. The song was crooned by Rahul Raj, Sanuja Pradeep, and Fiza Jahangeer.
The new song was launched at the yearly general body meeting of the Mimicry Artists Association of Kerala (MAA). Director-actors Lal, Harisree Asokan, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Ramesh Pisharody, Kalabhavan Shajon, Ajayakumar Pakru, Tini Tom, Kalabhavan Prajod, Saju Kodiyan, Nirmal Palazhy, Shaju Sreedhar, director Nadirshah, etc. also marked their attendance at the event.
A few days ago, Obscura Motion Pictures rolled out the teaser for the movie. The movie revolves around the traditional art form of northern Kerala called Porattu Nadakam. The teaser hints at the impending investigation of a cooperative bank in the state in light of an alleged scam. Furthermore, the teaser suggests that the movie is poised to be a satirical commentary on Kerala’s contemporary and socially significant events. It is to be noted that Saiju Kurup starrer Porattu Nadakam will be released in theatres on August 9 on the occasion of Siddiqui’s first death anniversary.

Directed by Noushad Saffron and presented by director Siddique, the film boasts an ensemble cast, including Rahul Madhav, Ramesh Pisharody, Saiju Kurup, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Nirmal Palazhy, Anil, Sunil Sugatha, Nirmal Palazhi, Rajesh Azheekode, Babu Annur, Sooraj Thelakkad, Shukkoor Vakeel, Sivdas Mattannoor, Sibi Thomas, Faizal, Chithra Nair, Aiswarya Mithun, Jijina, and Geethi Sangeetha and Chithra Shenoy in supporting roles. The script for Porattu Nadakam has been written by Suneesh Vaaranadu.
The technical crew encompasses Noushad Shereef as the cinematographer and Rajesh Rajendran as the editor. The art department is handled by Sujith Raghav. The costumes are designed by Soorya Rajeswar, and the makeup is done by Libin Mohanan. Mafia Sasi took care of the action choreography.
