Janhvi Kapoor shows that it's perfectly okay to repeat outfits!

As Diwali season has kicked off, people have started dressing up to the nines and attending parties to celebrate the festival with their loved ones. Bollywood celebrities are no exception. And when director Karan Johar put together a Diwali-special puja on Dhanteras to celebrate the festival of lights, it had to be a star-studded affair.

Janhvi wore a purple half saree for the puja. Interestingly, she recycled the saree. She had previously worn it when she visited the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh in August with rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya. Jahnvi looked like the spitting image of her late mother Sridevi with her hair left loose andaccessorised with jasmine flowers. She wore mininal makeup and kept her look simple for the day. She was joined by her sister Khushi Kapoor. The saree Khushi wore was also recycled and was worn in April by Jahnvi during another Tirupati trip.

As the Archies trailer dropped, Janhvi took to social media to cheer for her little sister and shared a heartwarming note for her on Instagram. “The world of Archies! It’s like nothing we’ve ever seen before. It’s sunshine, it’s fun, and it’s all heart. And it’s my sisters big puppy dog eyes making me want to pin her to the ground and give her 1000 cuddles and 5000 kissies,” the actress wrote.

Meanwhile, Khushi Kapoor shared the film’s trailer and she wrote, “Sirf tum, main aur The Archies, it’s a date? (Just you, me and The Archies). The Archies premieres on 7 December, only on Netflix.”

The series, directed by Zoya Akhtar, marks Khushi Kapoor’s debut in showbiz. It also stars Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda among others.
