Maken goofs up, posts Bhagat Singh's picture on Chandra Shekhar Azad's birth anniversary

In a major goof up, senior Congress leader Ajay Maken on Thursday posted a picture of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on his Facebook timeline instead of Chandra Shekhar Azad while paying tributes to the latter on his birth anniversary.

The post was, however, replaced soon with a picture of Chandra Shekhar Azad.

Azad was a revolutionary freedom fighter who gave up his life fighting for the country. Born in 1906, Azad is remembered for the immense contribution he made to the motherland in its struggle for freedom. He died the death of a martyr as he shot himself following a gunbattle with British forces at Alfred Park (now known as Chandra Shekhar Park) in Allahabad.
