HTC U12+ has been the subject of leaks and rumours online since long now as the Taiwanese company gears up to unveil it as its next flagship smartphone. Another leak has now surfaced online and this time, the HTC U12+ official renders can be seen doing the rounds. In addition, the complete list of specifications of the device has also been leaked, providing us with a complete know-how of the upcoming HTC smartphone.
Noted tipster Evan Blass has revealed the renders as well as the specifications of the HTC U12+ in a recent tweet. The attached images of the HTC U12+ on the tweet reveal an 18:9 aspect ratio display with prominent bezels on both the top and the bottom. At the back, the HTC U12+ can be seen housing a horizontal dual camera setup placed on top of an LED flash and a circular fingerprint sensor. At the centre of its back, the smartphone carries the HTC logo. Volume rockers and power keys can also be seen placed on the right of the handset.

HTC U12+ Specifications
As per the leaked specifications, the HTC U12+ will come with HTC's signature 'pressure sensitive buttons' and a liquid surface. It will sport a 6-inch QHD+ Super LCD display with a 2880x1440 pixels resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass on top. It will be powered by a 2.6GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and will run Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense. Memory offering on the smartphone will include a 6GBRAM coupled with either a 64GB or a 1228GB storage which will further be expandable up to 2TB.
As for its optics, the HTC U12+ will carry a dual camera setup at the back with a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens with f/1.7 and f/2.6 aperture respectively. Camera features will include Bokeh mode, OIS, dual LED flash, 4k video recording at 60fps, AR stickers and even face detection. At the front, the HTC U12+ will sport an 8-megapixel dual-lens camera setup with Bokeh mode and face unlock.
Connectivity options on the HTC U12+ will include USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, dual Nano SIM support, HTC Connect, NFC and WiFi 802.11. The device will be backed by a 3500 mAh battery that will also support fast charging.
The specifications list mentions an embargo time until May 23, 2018. Hence, HTC is expected to make an announcement around the smartphone on the date and might bring it to its markets soon afterwards. The renders show that the device will be available in three colour variants - Black, Red and Grey.
