Neil Bhatt Reveals Wife Aishwarya Sharma’s Reaction To New Show Megha Barsenge: 'She Is Very Happy'

Neil Bhatt, who played Virat in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, has returned to television with his new show, Megha Barsenge. The show premiered on August 6 and has already received positive feedback from viewers. In a recent interview, Neil shared his wife and actress Aishwarya Sharma’s reaction to his new role and the feedback she gave him. He also revealed the reasons that led him to accept this new project.

During an interview with ETimes, Neil Bhatt shared, “She is very happy with the show. The only thing she said about my role in the show was ‘Don’t make it like Virat’. That was her statement and in fact, even I was thinking about the same when I took up the role. I was very sure ki kahin par bhi Virat ki jhalak nahi aani chahiye. I know it is the same actor playing the two characters but the script of both the shows is different. Now, I just have to justify the character of Arjun. Virat had his qualities, and Arjun has his own.”

Neil Bhatt also spoke about what motivated him to accept the show. He revealed, “When my producer, Saurabh Kumar Tewary, approached me for the show, he gave me a three-hour-long narration. Initially, I was very relaxed while listening, but by the end, I became quite excited. I started reflecting internally and realized that if I was so interested in the show, the audience would be too. So, I agreed on the spot. I loved that he hadn’t tried to create boring characters.”

Neil further expressed his joy about returning to acting and television. The actor shared that he missed acting and had no projects for the past year. He recalled that when he arrived on set for the first time and took his first shot, he looked at his director and said, “I missed acting.” He concluded by expressing his happiness about being back on set.

Megha Barsenge centres on the journey of a newlywed bride who is deceived and abandoned by her NRI husband. Determined to rebuild her life, she overcomes the betrayal and, with the support of a well-wisher, restores her and her family’s honour while crafting a new future. The show stars Neha Rana as Meghna, Neil Bhatt, Kinshuk Mahajan as Manoj, and Deepshikha Nagpal in lead roles.

On the personal front, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma first met during the mock shoot of their show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Soon after, they started dating and got married in November 2021.
