Boss Runs Out Employee Who Took Emergency Leave To Watch RCB Vs LSG IPL Game
The woman, on Instagram, revealed how she opted for a fake emergency leave to watch an IPL match.

Cricket fever has gripped the whole country as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season got underway with a roaring start last month. Desis are known for their fervent passion for the game of cricket. Ever since IPL 2024 kicked off, cricket lovers have kept no stone unturned to catch the live action from the venues and the mood has been no different even in busy work schedules. The country’s crazy and unimaginable love for cricket was quite evident when a woman decided to opt for an emergency leave to watch her favourite team play but to her utter surprise, she ended up getting spotted by her boss.

The woman, claiming to be a Royal Challengers Bengaluru fan, shared a video of her interesting experience and opened up on how her boss reacted to the actual reason behind her ’emergency leave’. She even shared a short clip of the match and then a screenshot of her chat, which she apparently had with her boss.

In their conversation, her manager asked the woman if she was an RCB fan. As she agreed, her boss questioned if she was disappointed after the match and her expressions were aptly caught during the live broadcast of the IPL 2024 fixture between RCB and Lucknow Super Giants.

As the employee refrained from making any further excuses, the boss was seen joking about early leave and wrote, “So that was the reason for the early logout yesterday.”

At the time of sharing the video on Instagram, the woman said, “Moye moye getting real day by day.”

Social media users also reacted to the clip sharing hilarious comments.

A user wrote, “Haha, Cameraman be like ‘Aaj karunga tum papiyo ka parda fash’,” while another commented, “Manager too was watching the match sitting in the office.”

“Every other person at stadium tried to be focussed on camera but they didn’t get a chance. Now come to you,” a person said.

Notably, this is not the first time that such a hilarious instance has come up on the Internet. During last year’s IPL, a video went viral showing a young lady watching a match. She was holding a placard that asked the cameraman not to show her face as she claimed to be unwell so that she could get a chance to witness the fixture live from the stadium.

Coming back to IPL 2024, with four wins from as many games, Rajasthan Royals currently claim the spot on the points table. In their next match, the Sanju Samson-led side will be up against IPL 2022 champions Gujarat Titans on Wednesday, April 10.
