While many travel bloggers and fashion influencers have to put in much effort to garner a sizable following, Bao, a three-year-old Chihuahua, with a lavish life of adventure with his owner, Xa Thi Ngoc Tran, is living an influencer’s dream. Together, they journey across the globe, from Paris to Mexico, indulging in luxurious accommodations along the way.
Tran, a 37-year-old finance professional from Toronto, Canada shared that she welcomed Bao into her life during the COVID-19 pandemic, but their travel escapades only began in 2022. Speaking to SWNS, Tran expressed a strong bond with Bao, affectionately calling him her “baby boy” and emphasising that she couldn’t imagine travelling without him.
Their travels kicked off with a four-hour flight to Lake Louise, Alberta, providing the six-pound pup with his first taste of the travel experience. Since then, they have explored various continents, including a memorable stay in Paris. In the City of Lights, they enjoyed accommodations at the prestigious Hotel Louvre Saint-Honore, dined at Café de Flore, and explored iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower.

Bao has his wardrobe which is worth Rs 2 lakh and he dons them during his frequent escapades with Tran. He looks like a complete show stealer donning expensive suits and shades and they have earned the chihuahua almost 166,000 followers on Instagram, making him no less than any fashion influencer. Bao’s taste in style is just as perfect as his owner’s, ranging from glittering jackets and turtleneck sweaters to Chanel silk scarves. Tran told SWNS that she likes to match Bao’s clothes to her simple style, even though the dog prefers Hawaiian shirts for the holidays.
With more adventures in store, Tran and Bao hope to visit Beverly Hills and enjoy a true “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” experience. They have a passion for Mexico, so they also intend to return there and explore more of Europe, including Italy.
