A bizarre case has come to light in Agra, where a bride was thrown out of the house by her in-laws after 48 hours of the marriage. The bride’s family has filed a complaint at the police station regarding this unjust behaviour. The father-in-law called the bride handicapped before throwing her out of the house. The case has gone viral now. The father-in-law is a retired army officer. He nullified the marriage after stating that he had been cheated in the community panchayat. The groom has blocked the phone number of his wife. The bride’s maternal grandfather unfortunately passed away after her granddaughter returned home and narrated the whole incident. An FIR has been lodged against the in-laws.
Dr Anurag Paliwal, counsellor of the family counselling centre said that the groom is unemployed. The father of the bride and groom has retired from the army. It was one of the lavish weddings. The father of the bride claims that her daughter has no problem walking, but the groom’s father states that she is handicapped. The father-in-law says that the girl has no flexibility in her legs and she is handicapped. The girl’s family claims that there is nothing wrong with the girl and the in-laws are deliberately not accepting the bride.
The bride’s family has complained at the police station in Agra. The reason for the father-in-law’s intentional attempt to throw out the bride has not been revealed yet. It is believed that the groom’s family is not happy with the marriage and hence decided to end the relationship by stating the reason for the handicapped. The groom’s and bride’s statements have not been recorded by the police yet.
