Often referred to as Thennakathu James Bond (South Indian James Bond), his notable roles include films like Vallavan Oruvan and CID Shankar. Apart from his cinematic success, Jaishankar was known for his significant contributions to social welfare projects. Unfortunately, he passed away due to a heart attack in 2000. Survived by two sons, Sanjay and Vijay Shankar, recent photos of both are making rounds on social media.
