2 teens die as bike rams tree

VIRUDHUNAGAR: Two teenagers were killed when a motorcycle they were riding crashed against a roadside tree on Monday morning.Annavimuthu (14), son of Ravichandran, of Thiru­thangal near Sivakasi, was a tenth standard student in the area. He along with Anandakumar (19), and Satishkumar (22), of the same area, have gone to Sivakasi on Sunday on a motorcycle to attend a festival.They were returning to Thiruthangal around 2 am on Monday and Satishkumar was riding the vehicle, with the other on the pillion. While on the Sivakasi road, Satishkumar lost control of the motorcycle which crashed against a roadside tree. All the three were thrown off the vehicle and sustained  injuries. Annavimuthu and Anandakumar died on the spot. Satishkumar has been admitted to the Sivakasi GH. Sivakasi town police have registered a case and are making inquiries.
