9:01 am: Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has alleged that the Madhya Pradesh constable has died. "Sanjay Yadav a constable of MP Police Govt witness in Vyapam case who had helped 3 constables from UP to escape from Police Academy dead," Digvijay tweeted.

9:00 am: Constable Sanjay Yadav, who was a witness in the Police Constable Exam Case of Vyapam has gone missing. He was supposed to appear in a Bhopal court on Wednesday but he didn't turn up. Sanjay Yadav is believed to be close to MP Governor Ram Naresh Yadav's ex-OSD - Dhanraj Yadav, who is currently in jail over involvement the Vyapam scam.

It is a crucial day in the Vyapam scam probe as the Supreme Court will on Thursday hear all the petitions related to the case. The four pleas include seeking an SC monitored probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the case as well as another plea seeking the removal of scam-accused Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court had on Wednesday deferred a plea for a CBI probe till the July 20 saying that it will wait for the Supreme Court ruling on petitions. After HC's decision, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he would request the Supreme Court that the investigation in the deadly Vyapam scam be handed over to the CBI.
