Social media is rife with unique experiences or encounters of people, that we may have never seen or even heard of. It gives the poster a way to share their struggles and gain strength from millions around the world. A video is gaining attention online, where a young woman is seen to have undergone plastic surgery due to a fatal dog bite.
As per the reports of The Sun, the accident happened with a nurse from Pennsylvania, the USA. In September 2022, when she was just 19 years old, Trinity Rowles was attacked by a pit bull on her face. It left her with such severe injuries that she had to undergo several reconstructive surgeries on her face.
More information states that the dog was her dad’s pet, with whom it had been living for five years before the incident. Now, the young woman frequently updates her life post-attack, detailing the surgeries she underwent, on social media. In one of the earlier videos, she recalled the horrifying memory, stating, “I fell to the ground and that’s when I felt him starting to bite my nose.” She added, “I was yelling that he was biting my nose.”
A week later, she had to undergo a skin graft procedure, where the skin was taken from her forehead and scalp, while the cartilage was acquired from her ear. The attack left Trinity with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). She had difficulty sleeping at night and needed therapy and medication to find relief.
In a recent Instagram video, which she shared on her account @ trinity_rowles, she shares an update on her condition, while zooming on her injury. She is heard saying, “Another surgery, surgery five. Don’t hate because I’m getting free nose jobs.”
Netizens share messages of encouragement in the comment section, commending her for being brave. The first user wrote, “I love your great spirit.” A second user commented, “You have the best attitude! You’re beautiful! Keep being you!” A third user remarked, “It has healed very nicely.”
