Celebrating the Indian couture, the best of the couturiers showcased their collection at the Amazon India Couture Week 2015. The most remarkable show presented this time was undoubtedly by designer Varun Bahl, whose rose inspired creation left us in awe. Designer Anju Modi’s 'Mastani' creation was alluring and the fine detailing on the lehengas looked spectacular. The other designers who stood out with their collection were Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, Rahul Mishra and Debarun.
Designer Rahul Mishra gave a very strong message after his show and that was really inspirational and he was the first designer to talk about the ‘reverse migration’ of the artisans. His collection titled 'Tree of Life' was inspired from Chintz textile and the trench coat with sari looked striking on the model.
This year was special for Manish Malhotra because it marked 10 years of his label and to make it even more exceptional, he made Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walk the ramp for 'The Empress Story' collection. This collection was the beginning of a new phase for his brand. Also it was a moment of pride for Sabyasachi with his collaboration with French footwear designer Christian Louboutin. Those red soles strutting on the ramp with Sabyasachi's outfits looked brilliant. As we sum up this year’s Couture week, here are the best looks that left us with crazed glint in the eyes.
